About Allay Therapy
A Safe Space to Explore and Heal
“I want people to feel calm, hopeful, and safe.” — Megan Wakeley, LCSW
Our Team
Eliza Ng, LMSW
(She/Her)
Hi, I’m Eliza, and I'll partner with you as you pursue emotional balance and self-discovery. Life can distort our sense of self-worth, blurring the lines between the value we bring to the world and our inherent confidence and identity. My goal is to help you sift through these challenging experiences to gain self-compassion and clarity.
I hold a master’s from the Silberman School of Social Work and have over ten years of experience in building equity, inclusion, and leadership programs, especially for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals. Using Psychodynamic, CBT, somatic, and anti-oppressive approaches, we’ll work together as you leave behind unhelpful patterns and find a path to healing and fulfillment.
Hi, I'm Megan
(She/Her)
and I am the founder of Allay Therapy. Prior to entering private practice, I worked for nearly a decade in a variety of community based organizations, ranging from LGBTQ+ focused work to youth development and housing services.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work through Hunter College. I hold an additional Master’s Degree in General Psychology with a Research Emphasis from the University of North Florida.
I have obtained post graduate trainings in CBT, psychoanalytic theory, psychodynamic therapy and EMDR, all of which I incorporate into my work. Additionally, I find relational and person-centered approaches to be helpful in establishing a space in which you can feel safe enough to begin to address your concerns. I work in an affirming and collaborative approach, finding a balance between holding a space where you can begin to truly hear yourself and providing direct feedback.
I also work with clients in Massachusetts, South Carolina and Florida, https://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/
