Our Therapists

Megan Wakeley, LCSW

Hi, I am Megan and I am the founder of Allay Therapy. Prior to entering private practice, I worked for nearly a decade in a variety of community based organizations, ranging from LGBTQ+ focused work to youth development and housing services.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work through Hunter College. I hold an additional Master’s Degree in General Psychology with a Research Emphasis from the University of North Florida.

I have obtained post graduate trainings in CBT, psychoanalytic theory, psychodynamic therapy and EMDR, all of which I incorporate into my work. Additionally, I find relational and person-centered approaches to be helpful in establishing a space in which you can feel safe enough to begin to address your concerns. I work in an affirming and collaborative approach, finding a balance between holding a space where you can begin to truly hear yourself and providing direct feedback.

Additionally, I am a licensed telehealth provider in the state of Florida and South Carolina: https://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/ &

Eliza Ng, LMSW

Hi, I’m Eliza, and I'll partner with you as you pursue emotional balance and self-discovery. Life can distort our sense of self-worth, blurring the lines between the value we bring to the world and our inherent confidence and identity. My goal is to help you sift through these challenging experiences to gain self-compassion and clarity.

I hold a master’s from the Silberman School of Social Work and have over ten years of experience in building equity, inclusion, and leadership programs, especially for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals. Using Psychodynamic, CBT, somatic, and anti-oppressive approaches, we’ll work together as you leave behind unhelpful patterns and find a path to healing and fulfillment.

Hi, I’m Taylor Washing and I believe in creating a safe, collaborative, and judgment-free space to explore your inner world with empathy and care. Whether you're navigating anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling stuck, I’ll support you in reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may feel conflicted or unheard.

I hold a Master’s from Columbia University and have provided therapy to both adults and teenagers in hospital and school settings. My background also includes working with nonprofits that support LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities, as well as survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. These experiences shape my commitment to affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.

My approach is person-centered and psychodynamic, with a foundation in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. Whether you're navigating life transitions, feeling stuck, or looking to deepen your self-understanding, I’m here to support you in that process.
