Our Therapists

Megan Wakeley, LCSW

Hi, I am Megan and I am the founder of Allay Therapy. Prior to entering private practice, I worked for nearly a decade in a variety of community based organizations, ranging from LGBTQ+ focused work to youth development and housing services.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work through Hunter College. I hold an additional Master’s Degree in General Psychology with a Research Emphasis from the University of North Florida.

I have obtained post graduate trainings in CBT, psychoanalytic theory, psychodynamic therapy and EMDR, all of which I incorporate into my work. Additionally, I find relational and person-centered approaches to be helpful in establishing a space in which you can feel safe enough to begin to address your concerns. I work in an affirming and collaborative approach, finding a balance between holding a space where you can begin to truly hear yourself and providing direct feedback.

Additionally, I am a licensed telehealth provider in the state of Florida, https://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/

Eliza Ng, LMSW

Hi, I’m Eliza, and in my therapeutic practice I aim to support your journey towards self-discovery and deeper self-compassion. I earned my Master of Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, and I have over a decade of experience working in community based non-profits with a focus on LGBTQ+ youth and adults experiencing homelessness.

I care deeply about working within the LGBTQ+ community and with individuals in non-traditional relationships. I value anti-oppressive and social justice-oriented frameworks in my practice. With this as a foundation, along with extensive experience facilitating communication, inclusion, and leadership workshops in the workplace, I aim to support you in your work towards empowerment and purposeful well-being.

Creating a space where you feel seen and safe is incredibly important to me. I utilize a client-centered approach, incorporating CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic, and Psychodynamic work depending on your needs and goals. I view my role as a partner as you strive toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
