Insurance and Costs

Do you accept insurances?

Allay Therapy is not in-network with any insurance companies and does not accept any insurances directly. However, we are eligible out-of-network providers.

What does out-of-network mean?

Out-of-network generally means you could be reimbursed a percentage of the session fee you paid if you have out-of-network benefits. We can provide a receipt of services, or Superbill, to you after sessions that you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

How do I know if I have out-of-network benefits?

There are a couple ways to determine if you have out-of-network benefits. First you could call the members/customer services number located on the back of your insurance card. The representative you talk to should be able to provide you with information on whether you are eligible for out-of-network benefits, the amount you would be reimbursed and if you have a deductible. You can also click on the button below to enter your insurance information and receive an estimate of what your out-of-network benefits are. If you would like additional support navigating out-of-network benefits, we are happy to help.

Why do you not accept insurances directly?

Although utilizing insurance can sometimes be more affordable up front, it often comes with limitations that can impact your care and treatment. For example, benefits through many insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to be eligible for care and determine how long, how often and when we can meet. We believe your care and treatment should be just that, yours.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Sliding scale availability is reserved for a small portion of our practice. If this is something you are in need of, please inquire upon consultation.

Is there a cancellation fee?

For appointments cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, there is no cancellation fee. If you are unable to provide 24 hours notice, you would be responsible for the full session fee.
