About Allay Therapy

Our therapy practice provides an individualized approach to therapy. Our therapists work together with patients to identify their unique concerns and needs -  including: anxiety and panic disorders, LGBTQ+ affirming care, relationships, dating, life changes, trauma, depression, boundaries, self esteem and couples counseling. Our mission is in our name: Allay: which means "to lessen in intensity or severity; to calm".

Our Approach to Therapy

Therapy can and often does look different for everyone. We believe therapy is most impactful when it is tailored to each person’s unique needs and concerns. For some, therapy provides a space to address an acute crisis, chronic symptoms or to expand awareness of oneself and sometimes a mix of all three. Regardless of the reason, good therapy can help you to make the changes you have been struggling with, identify the patterns that might be holding you back and ultimately help you to create a more fulfilling life. Whatever brings you to therapy, we bring a collaborative approach that allows you to feel heard, understood and respected. Our Therapists

Our diverse experiences and specialties have made us passionate about creating a safe space and building a partnership to where our patients feel empowered to approach their concerns. We believe in relational and person-centered therapeutic approaches to therapy. Additionally, we utilize a range of therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and EMDR.
